While most people find their calling, I was born into mine. My life in real estate actually began as a headline: my parents, Gene and Mary Brake, announced my arrival to the world on a printed Woods Bros Realty “Exclusive New Listing” flyer labeled "New Construction."

I grew up at a dinner table where real estate wasn't just a career—it was a calling. Alongside local icon Pace Woods, I watched my parents spend over 50+ years building a legacy in Lincoln. They didn’t just sell homes; they modeled a life of integrity, honesty, and a level of care that transformed clients into lifelong friends. 

I fast-tracked my education at the University of Nebraska, earning my Master’s in Finance before diving into the high-stakes world of global commercial real estate. I spent years managing a $21.4B portfolio and assisting with the third-largest single-asset hotel sale in U.S. history.
